About us

South Side Trust & Savings Bank was established in 1922 to provide local quality banking services to the south side area of Peoria. Since that time, we have grown our asset base to nearly $670M, have 13 banking facilities and one mobile branch and pride ourselves on being one of the largest locally owned Banks in the Peoria and surrounding area. We continue the tradition of offering a full range of financial services without losing that local hometown touch.

In addition to South Side Bank's traditional banking products and services (including products such as: loan, visa, deposit, investments, trust, internet banking, mobile banking, debit card, voice response, etc.) we have expanded our services to include a full range of insurance products through our subsidiary company, Mid Illinois Insurance Services, Inc.
